Cocos Nucifera (Saponified Coconut) Oil- Coconut oil has natural antibacterial properties and is rich in fatty acids, which are wonderful at cleansing and moisturizing the skin! Containing vitamins A & C, and nutrients such as calcium, iron and proteins, coconut is ideal for protecting, nourishing and conditioning the skin. When applied or massaged into the skin, the saturated fats in coconut oil retains moisture, leaving the skin supple and smooth to the touch.

 

Olea Europaea (Saponified Extra Virgin Olive) Oil- Extra virgin is the highest quality and most expensive olive oil classification. The light colored, lubricating oil is loaded with antioxidants and fatty acids and contains anti-microbial, anti-parasitic and anti-inflammatory properties, making it an excellent cleanser & moisturizer while providing a creaminess to the lather of our luxurious body wash's.

 

Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil- Jojoba oil is structurally and chemically very similar to the oil our skin naturally produces, making it easier to penetrate quickly through skin and hair follicles leaving skin soft and supple. It can also aid in soothing irritated skin because of it's anti-inflammatory, non-greasy, naturally antiseptic and anti-bacterial properties.

 

Vegetable Glycerin- Extracted from plant oils usually from palm, soy, or coconut, vegetable glycerin is an outstanding moisturizer and skin cleanser. It is also water-binding and able to draw and absorb water from the air, which helps the skin retain moisture. This ingredient is commonly used for its anti-aging properties on the skin and face.

 

Guar Gum- Guar gum is ground from the endosperm of fertilized guar bean seeds in the drought-tolerant and sunny areas of India, Pakistan, and Africa. This free-flowing off-white powder is an exceptional thickener and emulsifier when added to liquid, and is extremely gentle on sensitive and allergy-prone skin. Guar gum contributes towards natural softness of hair and skin when used in body care products such as shampoos and lotions.

 

Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Gel- Aloe vera gel is the cold pressed extraction from the leaves of the aloe vera plant, a succulent indigenous to the warm desert climate of East and South Africa. The clear gel is known for its cool, soothing properties. Aloe vera gel aids in treating burns, bites, cuts, rashes and is wonderful at reducing inflammation to help sooth the skin. 

 

Calendula Officinalis (Calendua) Extract- Calendula is renowned for its anti-inflammatory and wound-healing properties. It helps to keep wounds clean and regulates circulation to the skin, supporting healthy skin regeneration as it reduces pain and soothes skin inflammations. The extract is gentle, soothing and cooling and works as a great anti-inflammatory agent for those suffering from acne, eczema, and rashes.

 

Elaeis Guineensis (Palm) Oil- Palm oil contains Vitamin E, allowing it to penetrate deep within the skin’s layers to promote healing and protection. It also contains a refatting agent that helps restore the skin's natural oils and provides deep moisturizing properties, making the skin soft and supple.

 

Symphytum Officinale Boraginaceae (Comfrey) Extract- Comfrey contains a high amount of allantoin, a substance that reduces inflammation and promotes the growth of new skin. It is excellent for addressing rashes and skin irritations, bug bites, mild skin infections and shallow wounds. It is also effective for soothing sore and aching muscles.

 

Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil- Safflower seed oil is rich in essential fatty acids, vitamins and linoleic acid, making it a wonderful cleanser & moisturizer. It has powerful oil and dirt-removing abilities, helps reduce clogged pores, and repair damaged skin with its anti-inflammatory properties. Safflower oil contains lubricant properties that prompt the skin to retain water and moisture. It's contents makes safflower oil a key treatment for issues including dry skin, skin rashes & irritations, eczema, psoriasis and acne. Its hydrating properties lend skin a healthy glow, promote elasticity and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.  

 

Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter)- This natural cream can treat many skin problems, including blemishes, rashes, wrinkles, itching, sunburns, small skin wounds, eczema, skin allergies, insect bites, frost bite, and many other skin conditions. An excellent emollient and emulsifier, Shea Butter protects against skin dryness and accelerates healing of superficial wounds and irritations. It has a slight photo-protective action and is rich in unsaturated fatty acids and Vitamin E, making it a wonderful and deep-penetrating moisturizer. 

  

Natural Tocopherol (Vitamin E)- Derived from oat, vitamin E is an antioxidant that stimulates the immune system. It is considered to be the most important oil soluble antioxidant and a strong scavenger of free radicals, which play a large part in the aging process. Vitamin E is well absorbed through the skin which helps hydrate and moisturize, prevent cell damage, soothe skin inflammations such as rashes, eczema and acne, and it also acts as a photo-protector.

 

Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil- Due to the essential fatty acids extracted from the seeds, the oil has been used for its therapeutic botanical properties to the skin, especially to aid in the reduction of pain and inflammation. Evening Primrose Oil helps to heal dermatological conditions such as inflammation, dry skin, acne, psoriasis, dandruff, eye wrinkles and eczema. 

 

Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Seed Oil- Sea Buckthorn Seed oil is packed with nutrients that promote skin hydration, elasticity, and skin regeneration. It also functions as an antibacterial agent, which can help to prevent acne and cleanse the skin from disease-causing bacteria.

 

Lavendula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil- Lavender is believed to have antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties which can be used to help heal minor cuts, rashes, eczema, burns and bug bites. It can help prevent irritation and infection, reduce scarring, nourish and promote rapid healing of the skin. Inhalation of the scent of lavender may be useful for treating anxiety, insomnia, depression, and restlessness. Anthemis Nobilis (Chamomile) Oil- Steam distilled from the flower of the low growing aromatic perennial, chamomile roman essential oil gets its name from Greek origins meaning “apple on the ground,” referring to the herb’s sweet apple aroma. This oil has high ester content, making it beneficial when used in massage oils for relief from muscle spasms and discomfort. It is known to have a calming effect on the mind and body. Chamomile is renowned for it's anti-inflammatory properties. The flower is gentle and soothing, working as an anti-inflammatory agent for those suffering from acne, eczema, and rashes. Chamomile is antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic. This clear, watery oil has a refreshing, herbal smell. Rosemary is rich in nutrients including iron, calcium, vitamins and antioxidants, rosemary in various forms —rosemary extract, rosemary oil and the herb rosemary. This herb is used widely in aromatherapy as its stimulant properties refresh, rejuvenate and help you feel energized. It is also an excellent natural preservative.

 

Citrus Sinensis (Sweet Orange) Oil- Cold compressed from the peels of the citrus fruit, sweet orange essential oil is native to the tropical regions of China but now cultivated all over the world. The orange liquid has a sweet, citrusy scent that promotes a feeling of happiness and warmth. Due to the presence of limonene, this oil is has powerful antioxidant properties that fight free radicals in the body and boost the immune system. It can also be used to reduce inflammation and provides quick and effective relief to muscle pain and soreness.

 

Equisetum Arvense (Horsetail) Extract-Horsetail Extract is known for its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antimicrobial, antioxidant, coagulant, demulcent, diuretic and astringent activity. It has been used externally for the treatment of eczema, psoriasis, acne, wounds, itchiness, rashes, burns, frostbite and athlete’s foot. 

 

*Althaea Officinalis (Marshmallow) Extract- Extracted from the leaf and root of the flowering perennial Althaea officinalis, or marshmallow plant, this ingredient is found the in marshes, bogs, damp meadows of Europe and North Africa. When used externally, the ingredient has shown to provide anti-inflammatory benefits and helps to soothe rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, muscle aches and sprains. Marshmallow extract is also beneficial for compromised and aging skin, as it is plumping and can smooth out fine lines, even redness and heal abrasions, nicks and other small cuts present on the skin. 

 

Trifolium Pratense (Red Clover) Extract- Red Clover Extract is used topically for relieving skin inflammations, rashes, irritations such as eczema, psoriasis, sores, burns, and as an aid against skin cancer. The pain-relieving properties of red clover are likely due to the presence of the anti-inflammatory compounds eugenol, myricetin and salicylic acid in the flowers. Salicylic acid also demonstrates activity against eczema. Red clover is also a source of many valuable nutrients including calcium, chromium, magnesium, niacin, phosphorus, potassium, thiamine, and vitamin C. 

 

Viola Odorata (Wild Crafted Blue Violet Leaf) Extract-Violets are reputed to treat blemished skin, psoriasis, eczema, acne, and infants’ cradle cap. Today we know that the leaves contain salicylic acid, which helps reduce acne breakouts, as well as a natural anti-inflammatory property and moisturizing capability that works great for dry, sensitive skin.

 

Cane Sugar- Cane sugar is sucrose that has been extracted from sugarcane, a tall perennial grass native to the warm climates of tropical South Asia. This brown crystallized ingredient has sweet fragrance, like sugar itself. Cane sugar naturally contains glycol acid, which makes it effective to gently exfoliate and beautify the skin, leaving it soft, supple and regenerated.
